After five months of building renovations to the Outreach Centre and Uniting Church Worship Centre, the happy volunteers were able to open on Friday 6 December 2019. The volunteers worked constantly moving stock into the new premises and setting up the fabulous new book department.
Our new trolley system on the front veranda designed and made by our volunteer Supervisor, Ces Carey, was constantly being filled with the much appreciated donations. This makes work so much easier as the volunteers can now wheel the trolley to the sorting room without any heavy lifting.
The Worship Centre was able to be used on Sunday 8 December 2019 when we welcomed Reverend Don Afflick from Moss Vale to lead the communion service. The congregation loved the spacious meeting room where they enjoyed fellowship over morning tea.
Although the grounds are still to be completed, we are thankful to Sean and Laura Grabia from Ibuild Constructions, and the fabulous Daniel, the building supervisor for the way they handled the construction and accommodating our needs.

The official opening will be on Saturday 15 February 2019 when the landscaping and memorial garden is built in memory of Barry “the Plant Man” Bryant, who for nineteen years, potted and donated plants to the Outreach Centre. We are thankful to Christine and Julian Sharrad who have volunteered to take care of this project.
